#Review Dead to the Last Drop by Cleo Coyle @CleoCoyle #Mystery
The author does not have any ‘Book Club’ questions up for this book. So…I will go back to writing my horrible reviews.
The author kept with the jumping back into the past to tell the story. This time it was not just Clare but Mike also. Instead of the murderer talking to readers during the prologue it is Mike. This really put a different spin on the story. Then we have a very long book with more than 100 chapters.
I enjoyed the trip to Washington D.C. but I miss the New York setting. I am questioning why Clare did not go to Mike first when she found out about Abby. If she was so close and told him everything why not tell him this important information?
To this reader the best part about this book was the historical information. There was not a lot of history added to the story but it was enjoy to make this an amazing read.
I do wonder what is in store for the next book and how the author will keep this wonderful sereis going.
I highly recommend this series to any who enjoy cozy mysteries.
