#Review Once Upon A Grind by Cleo Coyle @CleoCoyle #Mystery
The author does not have any ‘Book Club’ questions up for this book. So…I will go back to writing my horrible reviews.
The author really wrote a different spin on this book. I loved how she entwined fairy tales and magic coffee beans into the story. I admit to having forgotten that Clare seer/medium. This makes me wonder how the author might have wrote this series if she used Clare as a seer throughout.
Besides Matteo’s wife, Breanna, I cannot stand Leila. This is someone who is nothing but a spoiled little rich girl who does not think of anyone except her self. Even her children are not worth enough for her to worry about. She is very happy to leave them where ever and with who ever. Each of these women need to be shaved bald, put in a swimsuit then have cow and hog manure poured all over them. Then make them stand outside for 3-4 weeks. Only allowing them enough water and food to survive. That might change there attitude, if not then just drop them off on a dessert island where temps never drop below 105.
Okay sorry enough ranting out of me. The author described Central Park so well I almost believed I traveled there myself. Having never even seen pictures of the place I now want to travel to New York and just walk through this park.
I have really enjoyed this series. I can’t wait to read the other two books.
