Review: When Good Bras Go Bad by Gayle Trent @gayletrent #Mystery
Just the title of this book reminded me of a time about a bra (I was wearing) snapped during a very inappropriate time.
After three thefts happen at the middle school where Myrtle’s granddaughter is at she goes undercover to help catch the culprit.
Okay I admit that it seemed a little too farfetched for any adult to walk into a school and just start volunteering. Even 15 years ago when my son was in elementary school I could not volunteer without having a background check and I certainly could not take any food without a slip being sent home to other parents letting them know what food would be served and if they approved for their child to eat the food. But looking back at my childhood, yeah I can see any adult walking into school and just stating they wanted to volunteer and it would happen that same day.
I really enjoyed how Ms. Trent showed a teenage growing up. She portrays Crimson aka Sunny as a teenager that is only missing blood pumping thru her body. I did enjoy this book and recommend to any who enjoy cozy mysteries. This was a fun fast read.
The bunnies and I give this book carrots.

Myrtle Crumb, the sassy sixty-something sleuth from BETWEEN A CLUTCH AND A HARD PLACE, is back. This time she must go undercover in the middle school cafeteria to prove her granddaughter is not a thief. Still, Sunny knows more than she’s telling; and it’s starting to affect her relationship with her grandmother. Is Sunny’s new friend Alicia the thief? If so, how far will Sunny go to protect her? Sunny might be fixing to learn a powerful lesson: that betrayal “is like when a good bra goes bad. First it lets you down, and then that underwire pokes you right in the heart.”
